We at the MRDC are pleased to make the following two (2) announcements:
Eduart Hashorva, M.D. is now employed as a primary responder for the MRDC .
Many will recall Dr. Hashorva's experience as Vice-Minister of Health for Albania from 2003-2005. During his tenure he published multiple articles and policies charting the path for medical reform. For his efforts he was recognized by the previous ambassador Jeffries as a true force for reform in the Albanian Health sector.
He has distinguished himself with a rich academic career in Infectious Disease, Epidemiologic Method, Health Management, and Biostatics: which has proven beneficial in our Avian Flu preparedness.
His formal training has included the following institutions of higher learning: Johns Hopkins University : Baltimore Maryland , George Brown College : Toronto Canada , University of Tirana : Tirana. We consider ourselves privileged to have a medical professional of his caliber as full time staff.

In our constant efforts to improve the services that we offer, we have contracted the creation of this site in English and Albanian with updates every month. We hope that this effort will improve communication on critical issues such as access to our service (emergency or otherwise), updates on the avian flue (specific to Albania ), recent memos; just to name of few benefits.
