The MRDC is a multi-disciplinary medical group that works to provide a global response for your medical needs.

This group was the result of a natural progression of services that started in June 2000 with the arrival of the Linderman mission. Dr. Charles Linderman, a board certified fellow of the American College of Surgeons (www.FACS.org) has provided services to the American Embassy in Tirana and developed a same day surgical center under the authority of the Archbishop Anastasios.

As the years have passed, a network of doctors have formed that represent the finest talent of Albania, Europe and America. Reflecting the reality that no one institution or clinic maintains the resources nor expertise, a dynamic and flexible group has been formed to harness this talent and capacity.

At the same time an additional mission effort was realized in July 30 2003. This was the formation of the Children's Home of Hope (www.lindermanmission.org) which was also the vision of the Archbishop Anastasios. At present the Children's Home serves 36 children with a staff of 20. The daily efforts of this worthy effort generate a high daily cost of operation.

In a beautiful marriage between the efforts to serve the diplomatic community and the crushing expenses of the Children's Home of Hope, proposal was made to create the MRDC. On March 1st 2005 through a collaborative effort with the WHO, UNDP, and the World Bank the medical needs of the diplomatic community are now addressed with the proceeds after expenses going directly toward the operation of the Children's Home of Hope.
